I do really hope all is well with Amir Khan, he was seen being escorted to a waiting ambulance from the arena last night where his minders and team were extremely concerned with it being filmed.
Amir Khan faced Canelo Alvarez last night in a fight that was billed as ‘speed Vs Power.’

Khan and Canelo
On this occasion, power won the night. Khan showed nice speed considering he was fighting at a weight he wasn’t use to and had just come off a year away from the ring.
In the early rounds Khan was able to jump in and out with 1-2’s and hooks. It looked like Canelo was finding it hard to deal with the spasmodic style of Khan, but maybe he was just finding his distance.
As in the 6th round, Amir Khan jumped in for one of his speedy attacks only to be greeted by a massive powerful right hand from Canelo. So powerful it brought an abrupt spectacular end to the fight.

Big right hand: Canelo lands a right hand that brought an end to the night.
Canelo set his right hand up with great ring intelligence. Feinting the jab disguising the big ring hand.
We would like to wish Amir Khan all the best and give our respect to both fighters.

Respect: Canelo showing great respect as he sunk to his knees to check on Amir Khan moments after his was knocked out.
Now Canelo will hopefully go on to make the fight with Golovkin, according to De La Hoya, Golden Boy will be contacting GGG tomorrow morning to start negotiations.
