GGG has been waiting for his chance to get his hands on the WBC middleweight title since Sergio Martinez had it. But Martinez lost it to Miguel Cotto, then Cotto went on to fight Daniel Geale and defended the title. Then losing to Canelo Alvarez in a catchweight fight at 155lbs. Golovkin must be now a little frustrated being a legitimate middleweight fighter, holding many belts but is yet to get a shot at the most prestigious championship belt in boxing.
