Floyd Mayweather Jr. had a chat with FightHype.com about last night’s drama that ended in Adrien Broner calling him out.
Broner showed how upset he was that Floyd had been having interviews talking about him, on a personal level.
Broner said, “I’m a man that learns s–t from physical activity, Floyd got to see me, I’m a man, I come from the streets the trenches man, from the bottom from nothing, i’m talking about water and cornflakes, I come from nothing, and I will never let a man disrespect me like.”
Broner went on to explain just how angry and upset he was by calling Floyd out, “So he gotta see me, I don’t care if we fighting or sparring, let’s get it on,” Broner said.
Floyd gave another interview to FightHype.com explaining how he thought that was “April Fools,” and “The joke of the night.”
Floyd said, “We’ll today is April Fools, that was the biggest joke of the night actually.”
Floyd added, “I want him to continue to go out there and fight, win, and what’s important for Adrien is, not just winning, life after boxing, is very very important.”
“I can remember I was young, I never had a Floyd Mayweather to steer me the right way. Don’t be like me Adrien be better than me.”
“I think he’s been listening, I spoke with him today, which is a good thing, I wish him nothing but the best.”
