Canelo Alvarez vs Amir Khan to be the First Big Fight at the Impressive T Mobile Arena in Vegas

With the fight date of May 7th slowly creeping up, team Canelo and team Khan were after a venue that would suit such an interesting match up. It’s now been set that the T Mobile Arena will be that very venue. Situated on the famous Las Vegas strip this venue is as impressive and interesting to the eye as this fight promises to be. The arena opens in April, one month before the big fight.

With a capacity of 20,000 the newly built T Mobile Arena in Las Vegas promises to be one hell of an impressive venue for the fight game.

Canelo Alvarez and Amir Khan will make history as they will host the very first major fight in this arena.

The Arena stretches over 16 acres of land and complements the already impressive Vegas skyline. It is said that the stadium cost around $375 million to build.

The Arena was designed by the Populous company. The same architecture company that were responsible for the Yankee Stadium in New York and the new Wembley Stadium in London.

With Floyd Mayweather now departed from the world of boxing, the MGM Grand down the road could play second fiddle to this new state of the art arena. This also could be Canelo’s new home if he plays his cards right.
