Amir Khan: Mayweather Is Bitter I’ve Taken His Limelight. He’s Been Taken Over!

Amir Khan was talking to BoxNation when he said that he feels Floyd Mayweather is bitter that he he has taken his limelight and his fight date.

“I think Floyd Mayweather has seen all the posters and everything, hearing all the noise of my and Canelo’s fight, and he’s probably missing it and his probably a little bit bitter that it’s his date and that he’s now been taken over. Someone has taken his date, these two young fighters have taken his date and taken all the limelight.”

“So he’s going to hate that, being a fighter himself, being on top here and now no ones talking about Mayweather. Now people are just talking about the next big fighters, myself and Canelo.”

“He is definitely going to be sat at home somewhere thinking about it, thinking can I make some noise”

Khan spoke about Floyd Mayweather’s ‘timing’ on saying he wants to come back to boxing, “What a time to do it, around the corner from the fight between me and Canelo that’s when he announces that ‘I think I’m coming back to boxing,’ I just think he’s a little bit bitter.”

“If he does come back, he comes back, that’s up to Mayweather.”
