Chris ‘The Nightmare’ Arreola has tested positive for drugs and has had his December 12th split decision win over Travis Kauffman changed to a no contest.
This is the second time the 34 year old has tested positive for marijuana. Arreola back in 2011 tested positive for Marijuana and had his fight against Friday Ahunanya changed to a no contest.

This is a huge personal set back for the 6ft 3 heavyweight as he was hoping for a return to form and possibly another world title shot. Chris has now landed himself a 90 day ban issued by the Texas Commission.
Chris Arreola has a long road back
Arreola has always had boxing in his life, being largely influenced by Julio César Chávez as a child. Chávez lived not far from his aunt so Arreola found himself watching him train regularly.
I’m sure this will be a long road back for the 34 year old now, as he is coming off a draw, a no contest and a drug ban.
