Many might doubt that Tyson Fury is about to retire, as the man is known for his joking side and loves to wind the general public up.
But, Tyson posted a video today, saying how he is looking forward to his ‘last camp,’ his last 8 weeks in boxing.
To think that Fury will retire when he has potential multimillion pound fights with the likes of Anthony Joshua and Deontay wilder seems like a crazy notion. But, if your heart is no longer in something, it’s time to walk away, especially in boxing, boxing being a sport that very bad things can happen if you are not on top of your game.
Tyson said, “Morning people, this is the third week in, Monday morning, Bank Holiday Monday in the UK, not Bank Holiday Monday in Holland. I’ve done my first session this morning of week number three, feeling good, feeling fantastic, done some weights, done some cross-trainer. Then I took a protein shake, and that’s about it really.”
“I’m enjoying my last camp, it’s going to be a blast, it’s been a blast so far, I’ve got just under eight weeks of training left to do, then two weeks resting, yeah so it should be a really great final camp.”
“I’m going to do as much entertaining as I can, before I retire, so I hope you have enjoyed the ride as much as I have, I hope you enjoy my last training camp, peace-out.”
Tyson will face Wladimir Klitschko in their rematch in Manchester this July.
