Lucas Browne Fails Drug Test and Looks To Be Stripped of His World Title

Australian heavyweight Lucas ‘Big Daddy’ Browne failed his pre-fight drug test. He showed traces of ‘Clenbuterol’ in his urine.

This will have massive effects not just on his career, but his reputation. Browne became the first ever Australian heavyweight champion but now looks set to have his WBA title taken away and possibly face a ban.

This will be a big shock for many as Lucas has always come across as a very honest hard working guy.

Lucas Browne won the WBA heavyweight title beating Ruslan Chagaev on March 5th this year. Browne came back after being dropped in the fight to win by stoppage.
